About Us
ROBOTONIO started its activity in 2016, in Korydallos, as a model laboratory, which through innovative methods and enjoyable activities, offers many options for creative activities for children of all ages and provides education services in the field of IT and technology to children and adults. Courses and workshops are organized and conducted by qualified and experienced staff, such as pedagogues, programmers, IT teachers, physicists, kindergarten teachers, architects. With a basic teaching approach of laboratory-based education, such as robotics, programming and experiments, students understand complex concepts in the most effective way and acquire strong motivation to communicate, research and search, to create and study.
Nowadays, with three modern educational robotics centres in Piraeus, Korydallos and Peristeri, with many participations in scientific events, competitions and festivals, with important collaborations with internationally recognized institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University and the Python Institute, ROBOTONIO's goal becomes more ambitious than ever. To turn the road to knowledge into an exciting journey! To use knowledge as a foundation upon which the student will freely express their creativity!

Tasos Kasmiris
Programmer | Educator
I teach Robotics and Programming to children and adults.
I am a graduate of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the Faculty of Sciences of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and I hold a Master's degree (MSc) in "Advanced Information Systems" from the University of Athens.
I have specialized in the development of Intelligent Systems and Advanced Artificial Intelligence topics.
I am a Certified LEGO Education EV3 Mindstorms Instructor from the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Academy.
I have a wealth of professional and teaching experience in most major programming languages, especially C, C++, JAVA, VB and Python. I am involved in organizing and conducting seminars in specialized subjects in the field of computer science and since 2013 I have been teaching robotics to students of all levels and adults.
Since 2017 I have been participating as a coach in FLL , World Robot Olympiad (WRO), National Robotics Competition, CANSAT competition, Astro Pi competition with many distinctions.

I teach Design, Architecture and Creative Writing to children and adults
I am a graduate of the Department of Interior Architecture, Decoration and Object Design of the School of Artistic Studies of ATEI Athens and I hold an MSc in "Computational Design & Digital Fabrication" from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Nicosia and an M.A. in "Creative Writing" from the Hellenic Open University. I hold a Certificate of Specialized Training "STEM in Education" as well as a Certificate in Pedagogy and Digital Storytelling from EKPA.
Since 2016 I have been organizing the Makerspace of ROBOTONIO, and as a Maker Educator I make sure that the children's imagination is always unbridled!
I have participated as a coach in the National Robotics Competition and in the FLL competition.

I am a graduate of the Department of Early Childhood Education and Educational Planning. I hold a master's degree in "Teaching of Natural Sciences and Information and Communication Technologies in Education: An Interdisciplinary Approach." I have attended several seminars and conferences on STEAM and new technologies in the field of education. I have also participated in conferences on digital media in education and philosophy in education, as well as in the exhibition of philosophical objects at the University of Rhodes department.

I graduated from the Department of Primary Education, specializing in Special Education (learning difficulties, dyslexia), from the University of Athens. I have attended the "Annual Training Program for STEM Educators" at the University of Thessaly and am certified as an educator by LEGO Education. Since January 2017, I have been working at Robotonio, teaching robotics.
